SPORTS HEALTH CELEBRATES NATIONAL ATHLETIC TRAINING MONTH

Sports Health, a corporate sponsor of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), has been a long time supporter of certified athletic trainers (ATCs). Sports Health is a mainstay exhibitor at the NATA's national and regional conferences and is also sponsoring a nationwide e-mail campaign directed towards school officials to promote and elevate the awareness of both ATCs and NATM.
The National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) is a non-profit organization that was created to augment the quality of health care for athletes and people engaged in physical activity. It represents over 30,000 members and seeks to advance the profession in the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries through education and research.
National Athletic Training Month (NATM) was created to educate the public on the importance of ATCs roles in sports, school, corporate, military, and other facilities, and to educate the public on important health care issues. This year's theme is "Injury Treatment: Early Care Speeds Recovery" and marks the fourth anniversary of this event. To celebrate NATM this March, certified athletic trainers all over the United States will be organizing special events such as screenings and health fairs.
