Product
Overview and Description
There are three modules to the Simtrak system - the injury tracking
module Simtrak, the add-on module Simtrak Report Writer (SRW),
and the stand-alone module Simtrak Inventory Control (SIC).
Simtrak is
the main module that performs all injury-tracking functions for the athletic
trainer and rehabilitation specialist. Simtrak tracks personnel, injuries,
progress of injuries, treatments, weights, medications, facilities, and
schedule. The system can be run on a single PC or a network with unlimited
users. With advanced versions personnel can be transferred between organizations
and data can be entered and synchronized remotely. Information can be printed,
displayed, or printed to Adobe PDF format and e-mailed to individuals that
do not have access to the Simtrak system.
SRW is an add-on
module to Simtrak, and requires Simtrak to be purchased in addition
to SRW. With SRW custom ad-hoc reports can be created, saved,
and run, allowing any piece of information from Simtrak to be accessed
and printed. This allows an organization to analyze their injury data the
way they want to, and develop and use custom reports for their specific
implementation, outside of the numerous standard reports within Simtrak.
SIC is a stand-alone
module for tracking the inventory of the training room. It tracks vendors,
personnel and inventory items. On-hand and on-order information is available
for three separate locations and inventory can be transferred between locations.
In addition, uniform counts are tracked and consignment to individual personnel
is available.
