Introduction
Across the United States, schools and communities are preparing and developing plans for responding to emergencies. Schools are expected to not only have a plan in place, but also have the necessary supplies ready to handle a variety of possible emergencies. In these times of heightened alert - - is your school prepared?

When School Health® Corporation hosted its Fall 2001 sales meeting on September 10th, we invited nurses from around the country to participate in a panel discussion. Discussions turned to additional products we could offer. Meri Jackson, President-Elect of the California School Nurses Organization, suggested an emergency kit nurses could have on hand in the event of a sudden emergency. The usefulness of Meri's suggestion became all too apparent the next day, September 11, 2001. We have named the kit the "Jackson Emergency Kit" to honor Meri Jackson and healthcare workers all over the country who came together to help those in need after our national tragedy.

A:	The Emsoft bag is 13 W X 9 D X 8 H and the Nurse Tote is 16L X 5D X 11H.
Q:	Is there additional room in either of the above bags to add additional supplies?
A:	The Nurse Tote has a front pocket with a zipper and 2 little side pockets. The Emsoft bag does not have additional pockets but you could fit additional items inside of it.
