Introduction
The CPR Micromask with a removable/disposable,
filtered valve allows the professional rescuer to be prepared to give CPR
efficiently. Specifically designed to set the standard in the industry,
the CPR
Micromask features a positive, one-way, non-rebreathing valve complete
with 3M Filtrete filter. This valve has a large opening to reduce restrictive
rescue breathing.

Product
Overview and Description
The CPR Micromask is made of materials which remain flexible over a wide
range of temperatures, allowing it to conform to facial contours and provide
an outstanding seal, even under extreme conditions. The CPR Micromask features
a cushion inflation tube allowing the rescuer to adjust the cushion to the
desired shape and firmness. This adjustable cushion helps achieve a proper
seal for use on adults, children and infants. The dome is manufactured from
clear plastic for accurate victim monitoring allowing the rescuer to check
the victim's lip color and observe for secretions.
The ever popular fold-down styling makes for a low profile, easily accessible
package that includes a pair of disposable Nitrile gloves in a durable,
nylon belt pouch. The CPR Micromask is available as a single use disposable
mask or as a reusable mask with a single use disposable one-way valve.

Product
Use and Procedure
 |
Functional |
 |
Allows the rescuer
to provide air to the patient. |
 |
One-way valve isolates
the rescuer from patient secretions and the filter provides a degree
of respirable particulate removal. |
 |
Facemask is transparent
to allow the observation of the patient and provides an adequate seal
with minimum air leakage when held to the patient's face. |
 |
For models with
removable valve, the facemask may be reused when sanitized as directed. |
 |
Performance |
 |
At a constant flow
of 60l/min, the valve with filter presents less than 10 cm H20/L/sec
resistance to airflow in either direction. |
 |
Valve operation
is not impaired by vomitous. |
 |
Will not be affected
after exposure to a temperature range of -21 degrees C to 49 degrees
C. |
 |
The volume in the
system common to both inhale and exhale air is less than 200mls. |
